NEED a battery and Mosquito Magnet has been out

We paid top dollar for the expensive Patriot Plus and now they do not have the battery to purchase so our machine has been down for a month during high mosquito season. VERY unhappy they can't supply the battery to run our machine

Poor Battery performance

I have our mosquito magnet 3 years now, The first 2 years it worked great. According to the manual the battery is suppose to last 2 years. I bought a second battery after the first month. They last a month. The first and second battery I keep charging and they last less then an hour. I sent my Executive Magnet back for maintenance In April and it last 2 weeks. I sent it again the end of June and never lasted more then an hour. Ina, going to buy another new battery .. giving it one more try. Very expensive and I was ok to pay if it worked but shipping replacing batteries. I am not happy. We have family and friends visit on the summer and live in Charleston,SC. Mosquitoes are a big issue here.

Recharged my new battery and it ran the machine for about 24 hours and shut off again, Recharged it again and it did the same thing. Third times the charm, I guess, because it has been running properly. Frustrating to the max. I expected Mosquito Magnet to respond to my first query after the battery didn't hold a charge but they didn't. Perhaps you need to recharge 3 times ?

This is second battery and our magnet will not keep running. Runs for about 15seconds then shuts off giving the word “attention “ with low battery symbol. Guess the problem may be iin the head instead of battery?

i live in an area that is windy. the placement of the mosquito magnet was importment. I found that if I put it in an area that was exposed to the wind it would shut down as if it were not getting the propane it needed. I placed it in an area that was protected by the wind. it has worked properly since.

Love my mosquito magnet we have 2 now. Has made a big dent in the population here in are neighborhood.
The battery wasn't the issue

The unit needs better water proofing. We have had some torrential rains here in San Antonio and the unit got waterlogged. After it dried out it worked for awhile and then quit indicating a battery issue. I bought a new battery but it wouldn't hold a charge once installed in the machine but the old battery would. Now neither the old battery or the new one will last more than five minutes which indicates to me something has shorted out.
