I need the lure bait for my patriot plus as I am in TX and the mosquito's in my area are the asian tiger type. What bait do I need and how can I purchase? My unit didn't come with one.

The Patriot Plus Mosquito Magnet is corded and runs on AC power. It needs to be plugged in to run. The Executive is powered by a rechargeable battery that is used only during start up.

In answer to your question, please go to our website www.mosquitomagnet.com. Then go to the Patriot Plus, Model# MM4200B. Scroll down past the pictures. Go to tab "Resources" and click on manual to view the information below.
Parts included: Bug bag; 10 metal power cord burying clips; and 50' power cord. (Reference page 5 of online manual.)
There are two (2) attractants available to you, which are Octenol and Atrak3N. Please select the appropriate attractant according to your location. (Reference page 9 of online manual.)

Most traps use a 20 lb. propane tank, which should be replaced every 21 days.

Where I live, the power supply is 220V AC. Your power adapter says 120V AC. How can I connect it to a 220V outlet?

The Mosquito Magnet® Patriot Plus Mosquito Trap is designed to operate on 120V and is not compatible with 220V power sources. Using a converter is not officially recommended by the manufacturer, as it may affect the trap's performance and void the warranty.

I have a 10x25 roof top terrace that I use for entertaining. Do you recommend this product? If not, which of your products do you recommend?

Thank you for reaching out with your question. It depends on the available space. We recommend placing the trap 30-40 feet away from people and in a shaded area. If the trap is too close to people, mosquitoes will be more attracted to humans than to the trap.

Yes, the Mosquito Magnet® Patriot Plus is designed to be used outdoors and can be left out in the weather, including rain and sprinklers. It's important to note that direct spray from a hose or sprinkler shouldn't be directed at the unit, as this could potentially cause damage

Where can I find the nitrogen (I think) to clean my unit? My friend got some to keep good maintenance of the unit but I don’t see it for this one. Can you help?

To clean your unit, simply wipe down the outside with a clean, water-damp cloth and remove any debris from the vents or fan areas. This is usually sufficient for regular maintenance.
If your friend used nitrogen, it may have been for a different model or a personal maintenance preference. We recommend checking your specific model’s manual for the proper cleaning procedure to ensure the best care for your unit.

The gas is not toxic; it converts propane into CO₂, which is safe in open outdoor areas. It’s safe for adults and children nearby.
