We would like to inform you that the Octenol Attractant has been specifically designed and tested to attract mosquitoes, not midges. Unfortunately, we have not conducted testing on midges, and as such, we cannot confirm its effectiveness for them.

The Mosquito Magnet® can run at its best for many years. When running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week the propane tank and attractant last a full 21 days.

Hi, thank you for your question! Octenol attracts most mosquito species, including salt marsh mosquitoes, as well as no-see-ums and black flies.
