Mosquito Magnet always works terrific catching fist fulls of mosquitos. As it is too early in the season for mosquitoes in my area it began catching pesky black flies as soon as I started it up using R-Octenal for the first time! Wow! What a great product! Thank you

I purchased the 3 pack of nets so I can change out the net that is in use with a fresh net. I noticed that when I do this the air flow is less restricted, hopefully this allows more mosquito to be trapped. When I take out the, then used trap, I get to see all those mosquitoes, dead or dying. The Mosquito Magnet "Patriot" is wonderful, very pleased with my purchase. No more repelling mosquitos, just kill them.

Mosquito Magnet Patriot model was put on backyard patrol June 17th, 2015. Out of town visitors last week were treated to half acre backyard with horseshoe pits, corn toss game, patio, and swimming pool, some nights until 01:00, and no one reported any bites... I know because I asked and enjoyed the pest free time myself.

I bought this replacement net to have as a spare so I could just swap them out when I changed propane tanks. When I first bought my Mosquito Magnet I noticed that when the net got full and I needed to dump it out there were always a few live Mosquitoes in the trap in addition to the huge pile of dead ones. I really did not want to practice "catch and release" on these pests I had tried so hard to catch so it only made sense to have a spare on hand so I could pull out the full one and give it a day or two for the remaining live bugs to die before dumping it. Do you have to have a spare? No, not really. Does it ever need to be replaced? If you punch a hole in it or run over it with a lawnmower, yes. But I really don't see how it would ever wear out as long as you treated it with the respect plastic parts deserve. Over time the screen will get full of pollen etc so a blast of air or from the hose is really all the cleaning I ever do.

Just what I needed. Good quality at an affordable price. Beats the other online merchants. Worth the price compared to buying at HD or Lowes.

Although the product is called a "net", it is more like a rigid plastic container with a very fine durable mesh on the sides. Mosquito Magnet recommends to replace or clean it every 21 days. Cleaning is very easy and this net will lasts you many seasons if done regularly. The only problem with cleaning is that the net may still have a bunch of live mosquitos in it when you take it out. In that case you could have a spare that you put back in there while you wait for the live ones to die if you don't want any interruption of service. I typically wait for the propane tank to have run out of gas. When that happens, I take out the net and wait for the live ones to die in the next few hours. I then shake out the dead mosquitos and rinse the net under running water. It looks like new afterwards. By the time I have purchased a new tank, the net is dry and ready to be used again. After a tank has run out of propane, there are hundreds of dead mosquitos in the net. However, they all shrivel up and the dead mosquitos falls apart so the volume it takes up in the net is very limited. The little legs and other body parts get stuck in the mesh of the net but can be rinsed out very easily. I have posted a couple of pictures of the catch in the mosquito net after a full propane cycle (~21 days).
