i see the 120 volt cord leads to a 12 volt AC transformer power supply.. could it work on a 12 volt DC.. like a car battery... i have been able to do this on certain electrical units.. usually in most circuits the AC is rectified into DC inside the machine anyway..

Hi, thank you for reaching us. We recommend the use of the certified power cord only, the trap was designed to work with this specific power cord.
