Mosquito Magnet® Lurex3™ - 6 Pack
The right attractant can turn your Mosquito Magnet® into an even more powerful mosquito killing device. If you live in the Southern regions of the U.S. or in Hawaii, where the main types of biting insect pests include the day-biting Asian Tiger Mosquito and other mosquito species as well as no-see-ums and black flies, the Lurex3™ Refill Twin Pack is an effective as well as economical way to ensure you are getting the most out of your trap and providing your family with maximum protection against flying pests.
Mosquito Magnet® Lurex3™, a patent-pending mosquito attractant, mimics naturally occurring human skin scents and odors that attract mosquitoes. It has been designed for use with all Mosquito Magnet® Traps.
The EPA-registered Mosquito Magnet® Lurex3™ is proven to attract the Asian Tiger Mosquito. It also attracts other species of mosquitoes that may transmit diseases such as West Nile Virus, Encephalitis, and Heartworm.
Increase your catch rate up to 10 times!
Using a secondary attractant is critical to the performance of your Mosquito Magnet® trap, as the right attractant can dramatically increase the trap's ability to lure flying pests. Once mosquitoes sense the carbon dioxide from the Mosquito Magnet®, they need secondary attractants, Octenol or Lurex3™, to hone in on the trap.
Choose the Right Attractant for your Region
Using the proper secondary attractant is proven to increase your mosquito catch rate by up to 10 times. These attractants lure mosquitoes to the trap by mimicking human skin scents and other natural odors.
Mosquito Magnet® attractants are the only brand to be EPA-registered and proven effective. This buying guide assists you in making the right decision based on your location and other factors.

Review RateGreat investment.
This is the second season we've used our Patriot. My wife and I are extremely pleased. We live in a wooded area and can now go outside and enjoy working in the yard. The expense is worth it.
Review RateUse it in the North East US too
Works great in the Northeast even though it's supposed to be only for the south eastern U.S. The Tiger mosquitoes have reached Massachusetts and using both Lurex and Octenol together seems to be the only way to get rid of the little buggers.Response From Mosquito Magnet®Patty : Consumer Relations Representative
We appreciate the feedback about our attractants. Octenol is the general recommendation for northern climates as well as coastal regions in the south. If daybiters are present in the area, Lurex3™ can be used.

This product really works.
Review RateLove my unit all 365 days.
Wouldn't live without my Mosquito Magnet and its Lurex. Living in Houston, I run my unit 24/7, 365 days a year!
Review RateWorks great
This attractant seems to work well for my area in Northern Virginia. The net gets full of mosquitos, and we're able to enjoy our deck without using chemicals or repellents, which poison the land, water, other animals and ourselves!
just started up for the year, I have high hopes!
Review RateGreat attractant
I purchased this product with the hopes that it rid our yard of Mosquitos. After running this unit for 4 weeks, I have not seen any mosquitos. I know it is early in the season but the unit is catching them.
Review RateThe Best Mosquito AttractantIf you live in the South, this is the attractant you want to use for the tiger mosquito. I can tell you, it works! When I first bought my machine I used Octenol as the attractant. Needless to say, it didn't work. I started researching these machines to see if they really worked or were a rip off. That's when I discovered that, in Texas and the South in general, you need to use Lurex. I ordered some Lurex, installed it in the machine and I haven't had an issue with mosquitoes since.
Review RateNot sure if it works yet.
I live in Arizona, Phoenix area. I have the Lurex3 running for a couple weeks now. Have about 30 mosquito's in the trap. Not a good number. Time will tell, I've give it a couple more weeks.Response From Mosquito Magnet®Patty : Consumer Relations Representative
