Trap will not power up
If the Mosquito Magnet® does not power up, then there may be one of several problems. Here is a list of possible causes of this problem. Click on the tab for the How To Check & Resolution
If the batteries are not new or installed correctly, you may need to replace. Use new, alkaline batteries, install in compartment and securely install & connect in trap. If you get the same results, please call Dedicated Customer Support.
Battery compartment is not properly connected.
Disconnect the Battery Compartment. Check the wire connection to the compartment. Re-connect the compartment to the trap. If the trap still does not work try new batteries. For additional help, please call Dedicated Customer Support.
Power Head Failure - Independence upper assembly.
If you have new, 4 "C" alkaline batteries and the trap will still not start then there may be a problem with the power head. Contact Dedicated Customer Support for further assistance.
