Concern® Weed Prevention Plus® for Lawn Care 0% Phosphate harnesses the power of corn gluten meal (84%) and sulfate (16%), creating a powerful weed prevention fertilizer. Up to 90% effective weed control in the first year on dandelions and crabgrass. Covers up to 1500 square feet.
Directions for Use:
Spring application:
For crabgrass, dandelions, and other Spring germinating weeds, apply at a rate of 15 lbs per 1000 sq. ft. This product should be applied one to two weeks prior to the anticipated germination of the annual weeds you wish to control. This timing will vary with the geographical area. A good general rule is to apply the product when crocuses are blooming or when forsythia blooms drop.
Fall Application:
Many annual weeds such as dandelions germinate in the Fall. To control Fall germinating weeds, apply 15lbs per 1000 sq. ft. in late summer, when temperatures turn cooler.
For optimium performance, this product should be watered in following application in order to activate product. If you use an automatic irrigation system, shut system down for several days to allow surface soil to dry.
