Review RateSome traps do not catch any moths
When it works, it's great, but some traps catch no moths at all. I put out a fresh trap this morning. Moths were immediately attracted, but flew in and out of the trap without being caught. This has happened before with traps out a while, but I didn't observe the problem until today. Does the glue dry out?Response From Mosquito Magnet®Susan : Consumer Relations Representative

Review RateLures great, traps, not as good.
I have used 'Pantry Pest' traps for over 3 years, usually purchased at my local Westlake hardware store. Recently, in the past year I have experienced the sticky glue part of the traps are old and dried out to a point where the moths go into them, but are not caught. I assume this is because they are sitting on the shelves too long. I suggest using a trap pad like the ones used to trap spiders and mice with a thin layer of removeable plastic that keeps the glue fresher. I have used the lures from your product, and even the plastic bag the lure are packaged in as another lure, on these 'fresher' glue pads and theyt work great. Thank you! Mark in Kansas
Review RateThe Pantry Pest TrapThis trap attracted many moths but will have to put more to help this problem.Response From Mosquito Magnet®Tara : Consumer Relations RepresentativeWe are happy to hear that the product is working so well. The lure for the pantry moth trap lasts about 3 months. We recommend to check the trap weekly to determine if it is full. If the trap is full then wrap the trap in newspaper and dispose in a trashcan.

Review RateSafer® Brand - Safer® Brand The Pantry Moth
It seems to work but the scent is not strong enough because there are a few moths flying around. I noticed that if I put a 3M packaging tape around my pantry with a few seeds, they will eventually get trapped as well. I just came up with the cheapest solution.Response From Mosquito Magnet®Kelly : Consumer Relations Representative
The traps are designed to attract and catch male moths. Any moths seen not going towards the trap may be female moths.

Review RatePantry Pest TrapsOur house got infested with moths. Hundreds coming out of the garage and pantry. So we ordered a box of these and the other traps for the cloth eating moths. They do work at luring and catching male moths. Seems like it worked better with them open and placed high. The only problem was for such a large item, there was a limited amount of sticky surface and that sticky surface was not as sticky as a regular fly trap. You could see where moths landed and got away. So I set some up with cheap fly traps around it and got rid of dozens and dozens of moths. I think that if these were the same sized cardboard but flattened and full of better sticky material, they would be much more effective and use much less space. I read a dab of fish oil can work with fly traps and will give that go too if we ever have an infestation again.
Review RateWork in progressJust put out the traps a week ago, so waiting on the results. Still see a very few moths flying around and only two in one of the traps. Hopefully we'll catch more!
