I’ve owned at least 5 mosquito magnets... when they work the are awesome... when they work is the key word.... all they need to do is up the quality of parts... the unit needs a commercial kitchen ignition system. What they are installing is crap. Works for a while then you can’t light it. Tanks empty... good luck. They would be the best machine on the planet if they up the ante... what’s the problem??? It’s going to raise the price of the unit 25-50$??? And yes customer service terrible is being nice.

I am ordering my third Mosquito Magnet. The first two quit after @ three years. The first I sent off, somewhere, for repair. Response was not posiitive. The second one did not work half of the time. The fan would start, but but would not continue past a warm up period. I used all of the CO2 cartridges on hand and tried to order more. I was told they were discontinued. Never did get this last one started. When the thing is working, mosquitos take a hit. My wife is convinced that we need another one. Review RateCustomer service needs massive improvement
Unit is fine, but customer service is terrible. The unit I was sent was clearly a reconditioned unit or a recent return. Unit arrived damaged and I both called and emailed customer service each. No reply from email, and run around from phone line. I simply wanted to have the unit replaced at no charge, but this seems to be beyond the scope of the service department. Review Rategreat product, needs to be more reliable.
This was my third Mosquito Magnet. All have failed after about 2 to 3 years of use. The product works great, but for almost $1,000 (when I was buying mine) I'd like more than a few years of service. shipping it somewhere for repair is not practical. This time around the electronics have failed. Heavy Rain last hurricane season (Harvey) seems to have shorted something out in the panel. Definitely Need to make the product more weather resistant. I will be buying a new unit, but I'll be buying the cheaper one this time.

I purchased 2 Executive units in June, so it was after the mosquito season began. At first, there was an extremely low catch rate, but I found that by moving both units to new locations, the catch rate improved. The bags never got filled, or even close to filled, but the bottom line is that we were able to enjoy our patio with only an occasional mosquito sighting. Prior to the Mosquito Magnets, we couldn't sit out for more than 10 minutes.
